Health & Safety Policy
Management at Outer Construction Inc. is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe workplace for its employees, sub-contractors, suppliers & visitors. Protection of everyone on site from injury will always be our continued objective. Outer Construction Inc. will make every reasonable effort to provide a safe and healthy environment. All members of management, supervision and workers are dedicated to continuing the objective of reducing the risk of injury.
All supervisors are held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Management, supervisors, sub-contractors, customers, suppliers and visitors are required to comply with all statutory requirements concerning the health and safety of their workers.
Supervisors are responsible to ensure that all machinery, equipment and personal protective devices are in safe working condition and that workers comply with established workplace policies and procedures. Workers receive adequate training in their specific tasks to protect their health and safety. All workers protect their own safety by working in compliance with the law and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for construction projects as well as other applicable regulations and procedures established by Outer Construction Inc., its clients, and General Contractors
It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in all activities. Commitment to health and safety forms an integral part of this company from the president to the workers. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure work practices are done in a safe manner.

Supervisors are required to hold weekly toolbox meetings at each job site

Outer participates in the “Early Return to Work Policy” as recommended by the WSIB. This entails finding suitable work to accommodate injured wither if at all possible.
